Sound send Message 

  • High up on a tree, a language warns others of danger like a tiger or leopard. The language does this by making a special warning call.
  • Birds also give a alarm call to warn about danger.
  • Some birds have different sounds for different kind of danger.
  • Fish give alarm call by electric signals.


Note-

In December 2004, A few tribes who lived in the forest of Andman Islands noticed the animals behaving in a different manner. They guessed some danger. So that they moved away to a safer part of the islands. Soon after, the islands were hit by the tsunami.

Smell

  • A silkworm can find any female worm from many kilometers away by her smell.
  • Dogs mark out their own area on the road. They can make out if another dog has come in to their area by the smell of its urine or potty(latrin).
  • रेशम का कीड़ा अपनी मादा को उसकी गंध से कई किलोमीटर दूर से ही पहचान लेता है।
  • सड़को पर कुत्तो की भी अपनी जगह बटी होती है। एक कुत्ता दूसरे कुत्ते के मल-मूत्र की गंध से जान लेता है कि उसके इलाके मे बाहर का कुत्ता आया था।

About sleep

  • Lizard go into a long deep sleep for almost a season.
  • Cow sleep around 4 hours.
  • Python sleeps around 18 hours.
  • Giraffe sleeps around 2 hours.
  • Cat sleeps around 12 hours.
  • Sloth sleeps around 17 hours.


Sloth

  • It looks like a bear but is not.
  • It is a Sloth.
  • It almost spend 17 hours a day sleeping while hanging upside down on a tree branches.
  • The Sloth eats the leaves of same tree on which it lives.
  • When it has eaten enough leaves from that tree, it moves to nearby tree.
  • Sloth live for about 40 years and in that time they move around only eight trees.
  • Once a week it comes down from the tree to relieve itself.
  • ये भालू जैसा दिखता है पर भालू नही है।
  • ये दिन के 17 घंटे पेड़ पर उल्टे सिर लटककर सोता है।
  • यह जिस पेड़ पर रहता है, उसी के पत्ते खाकर पलते है।
  • जब यह अपने पेड़ के सारे पत्ते खा लेता है, तभी वह पास के पेड़ पर जाता है।
  • इनका जीवनकाल 40 वर्ष का होता है, उसमे ये 8 पेड़ो पर घूम पाते है।
  • यह सप्ताह में एक बार शौच करने के लिए पेड़ से नीचे उतरते है।

Tiger

  • A tiger can see six times better than us at night.
  • The tiger's whiskers are very sensitive and can sense the movements  or vibrations in air. They help the tiger move in the dark and find its prey.
  • A tiger's sense of hearing is so sharp that it can make  out the difference between the rustling of leaves and the sound of animals moving on the grass.
  • The ears of the tiger can move in different direction  and this helps to catch the sounds from all around.
  • Tiger's make different sounds for difference purpose like when it is angry or to call out to a tigress.
  • It can also roar or snarl. It's roar xan be heard upto 3 kilometers away.
  • Each tiger has its own area which may cover several kilometers. Tiger's mark their area with urine.
  • बाघ अँधेरे मे हमसे छह गुना दूर तक देख सकता है।
  • बाघ कि मूँछे हवा में हुए कंपन को भाँप लेती है और उसे शिकार की बिल्कुल सही स्थिति का पता चल जाता हे। इससे इन्हे अंधेरे में रास्ता ढूँढने में भी मदद मिलती है।
  • बाध अपने इलाके में मूत्र करके अपनी गंध छोडते जाते है। यह इलाका कई किलोमीटर बड़ हो सकता है।
  • बाघ मौके के अनुसार अपनी आवाज बदलता रहता है। गुस्से में अलग आवाज़ और बाघिन को बुलाना हो, तो अलग आवाज़। कभी करहाना तो कभी गुर्राना। 
  • बाघ का गुर्राना 3 किलोमीटर  दूर तक सुना जा सकता है।
  • बाघ, हवा से पत्तो के हिलने और शिकार के झाडियो में हिलने से हुई आवाज में अंतर को भाँप लेता है।

Danger to Animals 

  • The tiger is one of the most alert animals and yet today tiger's are in danger.
  • Elephant  are killed for their tusks, Rhinoceros for its horn.
  • Tiger, Crocodile and snake for their skin.
  • Musk deer are killed just to make a little scent from its Musk.
  • This year T×2 award ---- Pilibhit Tiger Reserve

Some forest areas, that are protected  by our government these are---

  • Jim Corbett National Park- Uttarakhand 
  • Ghana bird sanctuary- Bharatpur
  • In this areas nobody can hunt animals or destroy the jungle.

  • 52nd Tiger Reserve-- Ramgarh Vishdhari(Rajasthan)
  • 53rd Tiger Reserve -- Guru Ghasidas(chhattisgarh)
