Snake Charmers

  • Saperas(Snake-Charmers) are also called Kalbeliyas.
  • Kalbelia is a dance similar to the dance of the snake.
  • The snake charmers recognize a snake bite by its bite marks.
  • The snake charmers collect or make many medicines with the help of plants which they found in forests.
  • Snakes are helpful for farmers as they eats rats in the fields, otherwise rats would eat the crops.
  • Only four type of snakes are poisonous. They are called Cobra, Common Krait, Russel's viper(Duboiya), Saw-scaled viper(Afai).
  • A snake has two hollow teeth(fangs). 
  • When it bites, the poison enters the person's body though the fangs. There is a medicine for snake bites.
  • The medicines is made from the snake's poison and is available in all government hospitals.
  • सँपेरो को कालबेलिया भी कहते है।
  • कालबेलिया नाच एक तरह का नाच है जिसमे साँप जैसी मुद्राएँ होती हैं।
  • सँपेरे साँप के डंक के निशान को देखकर यह बता देते है किस साँप ने काटा है।
  • हमारे देश में पाए जाने वाले साँप में से केवल  चार तरह के साँप ही जहरीले होते है। - नाग, करैत, दुबोइया, अफाई।
  • साँप के मुख मे दो खोखले दाँत होते है, जब वह किसी को काटता है तो, उसके खोखले जहर वाले दांतो से जहर व्यक्ति के शरीर में चला जाता है।
  • साँप के काटने पर जो दवाई इस्तेमाल कि जाती है, वो दवाई साँप के ज़हर से ही बनाया जाता है और सभी सरकारी स्वास्थ्य केंद्रो पर मिलती है।

Some Other Points to Remember

  • Muslin cloth is used to strain something. 
  • Glass jars and bottles are dried well in the sun before filling them with pickles. So that no Moisture is left in them.
  • To eat mangoes around the year we make different items like pickle,  Aam papad, chutney, etc.
  • मलमल के कपडे का इस्तेमाल चीजो को छानने के लिए किया जाता है।
  • शीशियों में अचार रखने से पहले शीशियों को धूप में सुखाया जाता है ताकि उसमे नमी ना रहे।
  • आम को पूरे साल चलाने के लिए उसका अचार, आमपापड़, चीनी, टाॅफी, रस आदि की चीज़ें बनाते है।
